If you go deeper, you will notice yellowish patches, that is deforestation. Result of typing the 2 states on Google: in Italy we show the beauties, while in the Democratic Republic of Congo WEAPONS, HUNGER, CHILDREN... But how, in such a vast, green, rich territory... What is hidden??? RAW MATERIALS... The Democratic Republic of Congo is one of the richest countries in the world in raw materials, so much so that it is called a "geological scandal". It is a large producer of copper, lead, diamonds, gold, germanium, silver, manganese, coltan and other rare earths. In conclusion, the Democratic Republic of Congo could be a global economic power, but it is not... and we must ask ourselves some questions... Who are the invaders? Who uses the minerals? Who buys the diamond ring? Do we ask ourselves where that diamond comes from? Do we ask ourselves where the mineral for electric car batteries comes from? Every responsible company has the obligation and must have the transparency to explain its raw materials.
